DAY ONE: Machine & Controller Fundamentals
- Understand 2-axis lathe components and machine functions
- Navigate the controller interface and screens
- Learn key button functions and machine controls
- Review startup, shutdown, lubrication, and coolant system procedures
DAY TWO: Programming & Machine Operation
- Learn the basics of G-code and M-code programming
- Understand program structure and programming best practices
- Load and manage programs in the controller
- Operate the machine, move axes, load tools, and use Manual/MDI modes
DAY THREE: BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER
- Configure tool and work offsets using manual and probe methods
- Set up workholding and prepare the machine for production
- Learn best practices for proving out and running programs
- Review machine lock operation, troubleshooting, and Q&A
