Hands-on foundational training for operators and programmers new to Okuma or CNC machining.

This 3-day course introduces the fundamental concepts and operations of Okuma CNC lathe machines. Participants will gain hands-on experience with machine components, control navigation, basic programming, and safe operating practices.

Day 1: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Day 2: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Day 3: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Lunch is provided on Days 2 and 3

Learning Objectives:

  • Navigate the Okuma OSP control interface.

  • Understand and apply basic G-code and M-code commands.

  • Set up tools and work offsets.

  • Load and run basic CNC programs safely. 

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks.
